Who we are

DarkArts Studios is run by Clive Crous, a South Africa-based developer with a long background in indie and open-source game development, including work with Linux Game Publishing. What started as small personal projects, hand-built roguelikes, Unity editor plugins, and community mods, grew into the current catalog of games, tabletop worlds, and developer tools.

The studio is independent, handling its own operations, sales, and marketing, and has been making games, tools, and worlds since 2004.
